This is that mala: 1 round(s), about 22 inches, beads 5 & 10 mm, sourced from Braj artisans — not a warehouse strand. 5 mm body beads with 10 mm accent beads and locket — a single-round kanthi for daily wear. Finished with a Tulsi locket (two bead sizes). It is a kanthi, not a 108-bead japa mala. Wear it; count Names on a separate japa mala. Favoured by Vaishnavas and ISKCON devotees as tulasi-kanthi. The Radha Krishna Locket Is Beautiful
I ordered this Kanthi mainly because of the Radha Krishna locket, and seeing it in person made me appreciate the piece even more. The carving on the locket has a lovely traditional feel, and the natural Tulsi beads complement it really well. What I liked most is that it doesn't look overly elaborate. The single round sits neatly around the neck and the locket gives it a distinct identity without making it feel heavy. I’ve been wearing it regularly now, especially when going for darshan or during my daily पूजा. The brass lock also makes it convenient to put on and take off. The fact that it comes from the Vrindavan collection made the purchase feel even more special to me. Overall, a very beautiful and meaningful Kanthi.
Very Graceful for Everyday Wear
Mujhe ye Kanthi Mala first look mein hi bahut pasand aa gayi thi. Tulsi beads ka natural look aur beech mein Radha Krishna ka locket bahut beautifully complement karte hain. Mujhe specially iska single-round design pasand hai because it is simple and easily wearable on a daily basis. Locket bhi bahut noticeable hai but phir bhi overall Kanthi elegant hi lagti hai. Ab main ise regularly pehenti hoon, especially jab mandir jaati hoon ya daily puja karti hoon. Brass lock ka use bhi convenient hai. Overall, ek bahut sundar traditional Kanthi hai jo mujhe personally bahut meaningful lagti hai. 🙏

The Tulsi beads have a natural finish and I like how they balance the detailed locket. The one-round design is also comfortable for everyday wear. I can wear it throughout the day without it feeling too prominent. The brass closure is another small detail that I found practical. For me, this is one of those purchases where the product looked good in the pictures, but felt even better once I actually started wearing it.
