This is that mala: 2 round(s), about 34 inches, beads 3 mm, sourced from Braj artisans — not a warehouse strand. Tulsi and chandan beads together: holy basil with sandal’s cooling sattva. Finished with a brass lock, as a kanthi should be. It is a kanthi, not a 108-bead japa mala. Wear it; count Names on a separate japa mala. Favoured by Vaishnavas and ISKCON devotees as tulasi-kanthi. Simple, Traditional and Easy to Wear
I was looking for a simple two-round Kanthi for everyday wear and came across this one from SRKC. What I liked first was the combination of Tulsi and Chandan wood. The small 3 mm beads give it a subtle look, so it doesn’t feel too heavy or prominent around the neck. The two-round design sits nicely and the approx. 34-inch length feels comfortable for daily wear. I also liked the brass lock closure because it makes wearing and removing the Kanthi quite convenient. The overall finishing has a very traditional character, and knowing that it is handcrafted in Vrindavan, Braj Dham made it even more meaningful for me. A very simple and graceful Kanthi for everyday use.

Mujhe ye Kanthi Mala kaafi pasand aayi. Tulsi aur Chandan wood ka combination bahut natural aur traditional lagta hai. 2 round hone ki wajah se neck par properly sit hoti hai aur 3 mm ke beads bhi bahut subtle hain. Brass lock closure bhi achha touch hai, daily wear ke liye convenient lagta hai. Sabse achhi baat mujhe iska simple look laga. Na bahut bulky, na overly decorative. Just a neat traditional Kanthi that can easily be worn every day.
