Original Tulsi japa mala for Hare Krishna naam-japa — 108+1 beads, hand-knotted in Vrindavan, sourced in Braj. This is the smaller, finer strand: 5–6 mm Tulsi wood, about 95 cm, white cord between each bead, Sumeru marked with a tassel. One round is one hundred and eight Names. The extra bead is the Sumeru. You do not cross it. Searchers looking for an original Tulsi mala are usually trying to avoid dyed wood and plastic. Real Braj Tulsi is light, slightly uneven, and keeps a little bark on some faces. That is this mala. It is made for chanting, not as a kanthi. Hold it in the right hand, thumb and middle finger, one mantra per bead. Hare Krishna Mahamantra, Radha Naam, or the mantra given by your guru. Knotted in the Vrindavan tradition from Tulsi sourced in Braj. Curated by SRKC – Seva Essentials. A Beautiful Addition to My Daily Japa

Natural, Traditional and Very Nicely Finished
I ordered the Tulsi Japa Mala from SRKC because I wanted something traditional for naam-jap rather than a mala that was mainly designed for appearance. The first thing I noticed when I received it was the natural finish of the Tulsi beads. I actually liked the slight variation in the beads because it makes the piece feel more handcrafted. The 108+1 count is clearly designed for japa, and the hand-knotted construction adds a lot to the overall presentation. The bead size is also quite comfortable for regular use. Tulsi wood ke beads ka natural finish bahut sundar hai. Har bead bilkul same nahi lagta, jo mujhe personally achha laga because isse mala ka handcrafted feel maintain hota hai. 108+1 beads ka arrangement bhi proper hai aur hand-knotting ki detailing mala ko aur traditional look deti hai. 5–6 mm ka bead size mujhe comfortable laga aur approx. 95 cm ki length bhi chanting ke liye practical hai. Mala simple hai, lekin bahut graceful lagti hai. Overall, mera experience achha raha. Mujhe especially iska natural finish aur simple traditional design bahut pasand aaya. 🙏
